Our children’s bone health is at risk when they become adults
Peak time for building bone happens in adolescence and young adulthood. We need to address their bone health NOW. No exercise means muscle doesn’t move therefore bone isn’t stimulated to turn over and strengthen. If they don’t maximize their bone building during the crucial peak bone-building period of their lives when losing bone is common, they won’t have as much to spare, putting them at risk of osteoporosis.
